Q + A

Are gifts required?/Do you have a wedding registry?

No, gifts are not required but appreciated, gifts cards or cash are also appreciated. We do have a registry set up with several sites in the registry tab on our website. Please do not feel pressured or obligated to buy us a gift we enjoy your presence more than your presents! If you do decide to get us a gift there will be a table for gifts set up in the reception area where you can leave smaller gifts. Shipping addresses are set up with the registry for larger gifts.

What time does the ceremony begin?/What time does the reception begin?

Our ceremony will start no later than 4pm! The ceremony will be followed by a 30 min or so break before the Reception begins. Our reception start time is scheduled to begin around 5pm and end around 1030pm. Dinner will be served around the beginning of the start of the reception. The bar will be open and available to guests during that time, it is BYOB (bring your own bar)any alcohol guests bring must be stored behind the bar and served only by the bar tender, HOWEVER, WE WILL HAVE ALCOHOL PROVIDED FOR OUR GUESTS AS WELL. If there is a certain drink of your particular choosing we advise you bring it and have it stored behind the bar. We will have an itinerary the day of provided to you, our guests with a more detailed schedule. We want things to go as smoothly as possible the day of, and these scheduled times are what we plan for, but we also realize that sometimes scheduling hiccups may happen. Please be patient with us if things do fall a little behind schedule!

Will this wedding be indoors or outdoors?/ What is the dress code?

Both the ceremony and reception are scheduled to be held indoors at the venue location. The venue is ADA compliant with ramps outside the chapel and reception areas. There will be NO assigned seating for guests in the chapel or reception tables other than those assigned specifically for the Bride and grooms parents and wedding party. The dress code for the wedding is informal/cocktail dress code types.

How do I RSVP?/ When should I RSVP by?

You can RSVP through our website using the website address or QR code provided on your invitation which will take you to our site, from there you will be able to access the RSVP tab. The RSVP tab will have your name or in some instances the family's name which will allow you to mark your attendance status. We will be informed of our guests attending through the site. You can RSVP or change your status up until September 14th.

Can I bring a plus one and are children allowed to attend?

Invitations sent to individuals will contain the individuals name and "guest", on the envelope when sent out. If your invitation is addressed to two individuals by name your plus one is considered to be the other individual on the envelope. We love our families and friends very much, but due to the location, lack of appropriate entertainment and abundance of alcoholic beverages this is a child free wedding. No children under the age of 18 will be in attendance.

Where can I stay while attending the wedding?/Is parking available at the venue?

The "Travel" tab on our website lists some of the many hotels, Bed and Breakfasts, and House or cabin rentals at various price ranges for our guests to choose from. These options are all in locations with travel time to the venue under 30mins. There are many many more accommodation options not listed on the site in the surrounding towns of Fredericksburg, Kerrville, and Boerne Texas that guests are free to choose from as well. Parking is available at the venue there will be a marked parking lot directly across from the venue the day of to park in. We encourage carpooling among guest that will be drinking throughout the evening.

Will there be other events to attend that weekend?/ If I have more questions about the wedding who can I contact?

Yes! There will be plenty of fun activities to attend the weekend after our wedding! We encourage guests who are leaving a later date to explore the Texas Hill Country towns of Fredericksburg, Kerrville, and Boerne. Our "Things to do" tab has some great suggestions for events happening that weekend or areas to check out for tours and shopping. We also have a "Local restaurants" tab with plenty of dinning options. If you do have any additional questions not already listed here, you can contact us through email.
